The Redcliffe Peninsula is a coastal region located in the southeastern part of Queensland, Australia. It is situated about 28 kilometers north-northeast of Brisbane, the state's capital city, and is bordered by Moreton Bay to the east and the Pine River to the south.

The area has a population of around 55,000 people and is known for its beaches, parks, and coastal lifestyle. One of the most popular beaches is Redcliffe Beach which is a great place for swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. Suttons Beach is another popular spot, especially for families as it has a playground and picnic facilities.

Aside from its beaches, the Redcliffe Peninsula is also home to a number of parks and nature reserves. One of the most notable is the Moreton Bay Marine Park which covers around 3,000 square kilometers of ocean and coastline. It is a protected area that is home to a diverse range of marine life including dolphins, dugongs, and turtles.

Historically, the area was home to the indigenous Gubbi Gubbi people who hunted and gathered in the region's forests and waters. In the 1800s, European settlers arrived and the region became known for its timber and fishing industries. Today, Redcliffe is a thriving coastal community with a range of amenities including shops, restaurants, and cafes.
